In 2018, during my initial visit to Udaypur Goan in Madhya Pradesh, I had aspirations to further my involvement in a project I was already a part of, but found myself unable to do so due to divergent goals and objectives from the NGO I was collaborating with. This led me to establish Milk Soaps with the women in the area, aiming to generate income opportunities not just for them but also for myself, with the support of my family and the SBI youth for India (sponsoring four events and grants of 1.5 L after the fourth years). Despite the virus, we managed to persevere. My next objective was to work with farmers, but this required a cautious approach. Given their small plots of land (ranging from 3 to 5 acres), it was crucial to find the most effective and optimal solutions. I am not affiliated with an NGO or government organization, so I couldn't simply invest money and then claim success, only to abandon the project if the farmers failed to take it up, saying, "See, we tried, but they couldn't do it, but we invested so much."

While harvesting crops is straightforward, ensuring a fair marketing platform for the farmers, where they are not exploited, is essential. We also focused on providing valuable knowledge-sharing opportunities, allowing farmers to propose their own ideas and questions, such as, "Can we do this? Can we do that?" We look provide more information crop rotation, real-time weather updates, modern farming techniques, organic farming, and will work with them to make sure we have a positive outlook.

Short term results with the long term benefits, that's how I look to approach my work. My fund and grant rejections have taught me to be cautiously pessimistic and don't expect anything.

Our soap-making venture has turned this dream into a reality, creating a platform for growth. We plan to regularly update our work on our YouTube channel, @kingleexperience.

Rural Entrepreneurship - For me, it's always been about letting ideas evolve naturally rather than imposing them. Learning through experience is the key, and the Adivasi community is known for its resilience. Making errors is essential for development, but it's crucial to ensure these errors don't lead to a mindset of "Nahi, hum nahi Karenge, babut loss hua"

The reality is, we're a nation that tends to react rather than proactively plan, and the mindset of "Dhekha Jayega, ane do" is deeply ingrained. So, how do you share ideas with rural people who are often too busy to work on them? These tasks demand time and attention to every detail. It's challenging, but giving up is never an option.
